Terms of Use
Last updated October 18, 2026
Classroom Pacing (classroompacing.com) is made by Justin Knott, a teacher. Using the site means you agree to these terms.
Free for your classroom
- Teachers and students may use the timer and every activity for free, at school or at home.
- You may show it on a board, share links to it, and print what the site lets you print for your own class.
Not for copying
The site's code, design, activities, questions and writing are copyrighted by Justin Knott. All rights reserved. Without written permission, you may not:
- copy, download or save the site's code to run it somewhere else,
- put the site, or any part of it, on another website or app,
- sell it, charge for access to it, or build a product from it,
- remove the copyright notices.
Copies that break these terms will be reported to the companies that host them.
Pictures, music and test questions from others
- Some pictures and songs belong to other people and are used under their licenses (Creative Commons or public domain). Each one is credited where it appears, and those licenses still apply to them.
- The Challenge questions are written for this site, modeled on released STAAR® items. STAAR is a registered trademark of the Texas Education Agency, which does not endorse this site.
Your information
- You don't need an account. Without one, your schedules and settings stay in your own browser.
- If you choose to sign in, the site keeps your email address and your saved setup so it can follow you to another computer. It is never sold, and it is used only to run the site.
- Student names a teacher types into a class roster are saved like any other setting: in that browser, and in the teacher's account if they sign in. The activities themselves never ask students for their names or emails.
No guarantees
The site is offered as it is, for free. It is checked carefully, but it may have mistakes or be unavailable at times. Please check anything important before relying on it.
